Joint Steering Committee

Strategic oversight of the Council’s bilateral agenda.

Sets priorities, approves the annual workplan and arbitrates between working groups. Co-chaired at ministerial level by both sides; convenes quarterly.

Investment & Projects Committee

Pipeline curation, due-diligence coordination, deal facilitation.

Maintains the joint project register, assigns case officers and tracks each opportunity from Express Interest to closing.

Energy & Renewables Working Group

Solar, wind, green hydrogen and grid modernisation.

Aligns Saudi developers with Uzbek single-buyer tenders and coordinates technical standards and PPA frameworks.

04Joint / bilateral

Agribusiness & Food Security Committee

Halal value chains, processing and logistics corridors.

Develops joint ventures in food processing and reserves capacity in Saudi halal parks for Uzbek producers.

05Joint / bilateral

Trade & Logistics Committee

Trade facilitation, transit corridors, customs simplification.

Targets removal of non-tariff barriers and multimodal routing between the two markets.

06Joint / bilateral

Finance & Banking Committee

Co-investment vehicles, trade finance, FX and settlement.

Structures co-investment between sovereign and private funds and streamlines cross-border settlement.
